Cloudline Runbook editorial scene

Plain-language summary: the app works offline, has no account, requests no Internet permission, sends no data, and stores only limited anonymous local state.

01

Responsible entity and scope

Rain Technologies, Inc. provides Cloudline Runbook for Android. Effective August 4, 2026. This policy covers the offline app and does not replace a commercial website policy, customer agreement, workplace notice, or security program.

02

Intended audience

The app is designed for adults seeking general IT operations, cybersecurity awareness, cloud-change, resilience, and handoff education. It is not directed to children.

03

App purpose and features

Bundled features include a forecast board, situation fronts, a private route builder, tabletop prompts, a signal glossary, guardrails, sources, and local completion marks.

04

Personal information collected

The app does not collect or transmit names, email addresses, phone numbers, location, device identifiers, credentials, ticket content, customer records, telemetry, or personal information.

05

Local app state

Only anonymous content IDs, selected route cards, and the last viewed page may be stored in private Android preferences to restore the local experience.

06

Credentials and sensitive content

There is no free-text field, upload, log collector, scanner, clipboard reader, camera, or credential entry. Never place passwords, tokens, recovery codes, addresses, hostnames, IP addresses, screenshots, or incident evidence in the app.

07

Permissions

The release requests no Internet, camera, microphone, contacts, location, phone, notification, storage, nearby-device, accessibility, or other dangerous Android permission.

08

Accounts and authentication

Cloudline Runbook has no registration, login, account, subscription, identity verification, or remote authentication feature.

09

Advertising and analytics

The app contains no ads, analytics, attribution, behavioral tracking, remote configuration, crash-upload service, or third-party network SDK.

10

Sharing and sale

No local marks are shared, sold, rented, or disclosed to Rain Technologies, Inc. or another party because the app has no data transmission path.

11

External services and contact

The app does not open a support ticket, fetch a status page, scan a network, or submit a form. Source and contact text is static; communication outside the app is governed by the chosen external service.

12

Retention

Local selections remain only on the device until cleared in the Privacy screen, app storage is cleared, or the app is uninstalled. There is no server retention.

13

Deletion, backup, and transfer

The Clear local runbook action removes saved selections after confirmation. Android backup and device transfer are disabled for app state.

14

Security measures

Data minimization, bundled content, no network permission, and Android's application sandbox reduce exposure. No software or device can guarantee absolute security.

15

Children's privacy

The app is an adult professional reference and has no messaging, profiles, social feed, location sharing, advertising, or feature designed for children.

16

Professional and emergency boundaries

Content is general education—not live monitoring, diagnosis, penetration testing, incident response, configuration instruction, certification, legal advice, or emergency service. Follow authorized policies, current vendor documentation, qualified personnel, and emergency services.

17

Policy changes and user choices

Material policy changes will update the effective date in the app and public policy page. Users may review the policy and clear local marks at any time.
